A good friend of mine Tom Browne asked me to help out on this film. We shared a studio space overlooking (the soon to be no more) Shepherds Bush Market at the time. A freezing cold room next door to the Eritrean Society and above an alleyway which at one end had a mosque which was basically a small shack but for Friday prayers the alleyway was full with worshippers. At the other end of the alleyway was a hut with ‘Fortune Teller’ roughly painted across it.
