I designed these for Hammersmith & Fulham Action on Disability.
‘HAFAD is an independent organisation promoting equality for disabled people. It provides high quality services and campaigns to remove artificial barriers to develop opportunity, choice and independence.’
I’ve been working there as a job coach now for a few months as well as working on the youth scheme and doing some design and photography work for them. They are a fantastic organization who make a real difference in many people’s lives and are in real danger from this governments policy of savage, short-sighted cuts and selling off of assets (i.e the building they use). By promoting independence and opportunity for disabled people the govt can save a lot of money in benefits in the long term by not promoting it you are tying people to the benefits system and destroying their self-worth. Well done Cameron and Clegg, your legacy will be worse than Thatchers at the rate you’re going.
These are not the final versions which will be used but are the one’s I prefer, The first is for Hafad’s loyalty scheme which is encouraging local businesses to welcome disabled customers by offering small discounts. The second is for a fashion show which is happening in October.
